Asa Herrgård dates back to the 17th century, is located in the heart of the quiet forest, 10 km east of Lammhult by the northern point of the 120 km long lake system, which makes Asa the perfect starting point for canoeing, fishing and hunting adventures!
The manor’s history stretches back to the middle ages and the farm has been in severalnoble families of possession. In the old days it was said Asa have the most beautiful forestsin the whole Småland and now is a good opportunity to experience the tranquility and Asa beautiful scenery along the paths and trails.
Our bright and restfull hotelrooms are available in the manor wings and in the renovated farmhand cottage. During thesummer we open a café and Bed & Breakfast.
Asa is a modern hotel with a Sweden/Småland kitchen that uses organic and local products such as fish from Åsnen and crayfish from the lake of Asa.
We offer activities like: boat, canoes, cycles, fishing, crayfishing,
hunting activities, sauna/jazuzzi and hiking trails.
From Asa you can easily visit for example Zipline, High Chaparall, The Kingdom of furniture, Astrid Lindgrens world, Singoallas cave, Hörnebo shale mine and Singoallas cave.In our reception you can get maps and information about current excursions in and around, Asa, Lammhult and Växjö.

Vi firar 10-års jubileum med en utsökt 3-rätters middag i herrgårdens anrika miljö. Kvällen bjuder inte bara på en kulinarisk resa utan även på en magisk konsert med The Smoke Ring Sisters!

Asa Herrgård is a classic manor hotel and is surrounded by Lake Asa, a beautiful park and magical Småland forests. The mighty yellow main building was built during the latter part of the 17th century and today you will find our reception, restaurant and dining rooms. Our hotel rooms are housed in the wings and the dormitory from the same period. In total there are 50 beds spread over 10 single rooms, 18 double rooms and two double rooms with jacuzzi baths.
